A Message to My Sister (Peaches) My Dearest Friend And to All of My Sisters

There is no secret what God can do

Your way has already been made

And your victories already achieved

For the journey through your life challenges

Have already been set in a clear path

That leads to a destiny of freedom and healing results

Your life is already written

Words encrypted on a slate

Dictating the overcoming of trials and tribulations

Illustrating peace in the valley

Painting a picturesque of the blood shed by the lamb

That guarantees you freedom away from all harm and despair

For God is your shepherd

Though you walk through the valley and the shadow of death

You shall know no fear

As a believer you know

That his rod and his staff will comfort you

And the power of the almighty will saturate all your fears, tears and indiscretions

With hope and rejuvenation of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual maintenance

Oh my sister! I am witnessing to you at this very moment

Whatever is broken and whatever appears to be failing

God is a heart fixer, mind regulator and a certified technician for reparation

Of all problems!

Every Tunnel you enter upon

Every valley you sweep down into

No matter whether a doctor has to put you under

To cope with the challenge

God is with you every step of the way

And he never fails

So my sister

You are grounded and rooted in the love of   Jesus

Know that your faith and his grace

Are sufficient and your prayers and petitions

You can consider done

In the precious name of Jesus

I pray

For you

Your friend and sister in Christ

It’s Another Day’s Journey!

Well, it’s another day’s  journey and I’m glad about it! I’m glad because I am blessed with yet another opportunity to be here in the land of the living. In addition, I am also grateful that God brought me through yesterday, while wondering if I could even face a tomorrow.  I made it!   Now if I can just get through today! Will it be smooth sailing? Will it be a turbulent flight? Will I just coast through to the next day or will the beat of my life cease here?

I know that there are many individuals who can say that their “life is one big bowl of cherries!”  “Everything is working out just fine!” ” Life couldn’t be any better!”  I also know that there are many of you who are going through what seems like the darkest period ever.  For those of you in the former group, may God continue to bless you. Maybe you might feel that this message is not applicable to you.  Stick around, because it might prove beneficial  in the future, or very near future.  For those of the latter group, God has not forgotten you, nor will he forsake you.  You are not alone.  He is with you through your trials and your triumphs.  It’s when we recognize that He is prevalent during our good times, that we must recognize Him even during the bad times.  If we don’t, who can we call on in our despair, if we didn’t deem him responsible for our many blessings.  I’ll tell you right now, ghost busters is not an option. (smile)

Let’s face it, if everyone is not going through some kind of tough times, these are tough times we all are living in!  I’m almost sure that if you are not facing financial, health, education, political social or spiritual struggles, someone in your family or circle of friends are.  We’re going to have to hold on to God’s unchanging hand and we’re must hold on to each other.  This is not a time to pretend that everything is alright, when it’s not.  Doing so may cost you more than you feel you’ve already been taxed.  Many of you feel like you’re at your limit and just a moment away from giving up.  Often times we give up because we feel that we’re alone and no one can help.  No one can let you know about their trials and how they overcame them, if you don’t open up and share your burdens.  On the contrary, If we share our struggles and not pretend that everything acquired was as easy as a walk in the park, this could be the very thing that keeps a friend, stranger or love one from falling off the edge.

I guess the simple point I’m trying to make is that whether you felt like you were not going to make it through yesterday, through the night, or awoke today, thankful but fearful of what it might hold…, no one is going to make it if we don’t have God and each other.

Please promise me that you will reach out to touch and or be touched!  I’m reaching out to you!

Joshua 1:9

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

My Testimony Today of The Miracle God Will Perform For Me Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will awake to yet another miracle God has performed in my life

How do I know today what has yet to occur tomorrow?

See I’m looking for a miracle
I am expecting the impossible

I believe that my God is awesome
I am awaiting to be awestruck
But not surprised!
Because things happen beyond our wildest dreams
When we believe in an almighty power source such as Our God Almighty

Jesus promised that our God would neither forsake us nor leave us
Tomorrow he is going to show up and show out
Why because I believe
I trust that his hand is in every nook and cranny of my life

I will receive my unemployment compensation as usual
I will receive my emergency unemployment compensation
I will be compensated for all that I am deserving of
Through whatever vehicle it may transpire

I am with my Lord on this one!
It is all in his hands
And all is well

Watch and see

To be continued

God’s Favor Towards Today’s Troubled Woman!

God’s Favor Toward Today’s Woman!

The world is ever changing, but one of the most beautiful and reassuring facts about God is that he is the same God since the beginning of time. Moreover, the favor and blessings he has showered upon women of the past are yours in abundance today!

Mary, our blessed mother of Jesus, is one of God’s greatest demonstrations of favor towards women. (Luke 1:26-38) “The virgin’s name was Mary and he came to her and said, “Greeting favored one! The Lord is with you.” The angel also said to her “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. (Luke 1:46-50) “My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed, for the mighty one has done great things and holy is his name. Mary was poor and lived in an occupied land. She already had faith in God, but she was truly honored that God would bless her!

We are all like Mary. We have faith in God. Many of us are poor. We may not all reside in an occupied land, but, we all are captives of various life challenges, such as daily strife, unemployment, consumer debt, faltering relationships, lost of businesses and loss of loved ones. The list appears to be never ending. My point is that similar to Mary, every woman is blessed and highly favored by God also!

By personally affirming your faith in God and your Savior, Jesus, you will begin to become more attuned to the favor that God is showering you with everyday. Unlike human beings, God does not expect favors in return, but just like Mary, your spirit will begin to experience heightened volumes of rejoice.

When we recognize God’s favor we are then moved by the power of the Holy Spirit to praise him for his greatness! When the praises go up, the blessings come down and for this the Lord is well pleased. Have you tried counting your blessings lately? The Lord will make a way out of no way! Just believe. Everyday is a victory in Jesus! Be blessed.

Do you know who you are? Do you know where you came from? Do you know where you really are today?

You are Precious…………… God’s children created in his own perfect image

You are rich………………….Descendants of a royal people that once reined over the three most riches empires of the world, Ghana, Mali and Songay.

You are Survivors………….The seeds of your ancestors who journeyed through slavery, civil unrest, economic disparities, social injustices, poverty and hardships passing down to you the genes that weather storms, dare to dream and beg to differ.

You are Living Legends. Your stories today are history tomorrow.

You are here. In an era where opportunities exist for men, women and children beyond what our ancestors could only have imagined.

Take this moment and bask in the momentous beauty of your victories.

Englewood is extremely proud of you, but be sure to allow the pride within yourselves to marinate over and resonate tasting the victories that you so well deserve and have earned. Continue to be the change today that you want to see in the world tomorrow.

You are truly manifestations of the greatness of our community!

Living Legends never lower your torches
Your mission to achieve must continuously burn so that others can take the fire from your flames to light and carry on the torches of

Excellence, Perseverance, Responsibility, Spirituality, Education, Prosperity, Knowledge, Love, Family & Community Pride, Scholarship, Freedom and Leadership.

I know God is pleased! Well Done! Thank you.

Response To Natalie Evans and My Reply

Ms. Sanders,
The picture that you took of Natalie is beautiful and sister girl you wrote a good story about Natalie. She is going to really be missed. She was such a warm filled person. Her sense of humor was great. She was a fashion bug . The girl was bright and smart in all areas. Ms. Sanders keep looking up being in couraged and keep letting the LORD stir up your gifts

My response to Sherlyn:
Thank you my sister and coworker, Sherlyn. You know I’ve always enjoyed capturing friends, coworkers and family at what may at times appear to be only a simple moment in time. As I visit my personal photo gallery, I realize that the treasure I hold is a chest filled with treasured moments I have for a life-time.

Our dear sister and friend Natalie Evans was truly a vessel of inspiration, wisdom, hope, courage, conviction, strength, beauty, womanhood, motherhood, faith, spirituality and love to me, to name a few. In my last communication from her she indicated in an email, “I’m doing okay.” This occurred October 23rd, 2009. At this time, she also requested that I still pray for her. She signed the email with Love. I replied back with the requests she’d made known, letting her know that I Loved her and Autumn as well.

Upon hearing that she made her transition on October 29th, 2009, I revisted that same email. I asked myself, how could she have possibly meant that she was doing okay, when the news proved otherwise. Then I took another look at the picture of her posted above and knew that she very well knew that she was okay. She was okay with her heavenly father and of what she knew he had in store for her. I know God had given her a medal of honor and a seal stamped with approval, saying “WELL DONE MY SERVANT NATALIE, WELL DONE”

Yes Sherlyn, we along with her family and a host of other friends will surely miss her and at the same time we can both rejoice in her FINAL VICTORY!

It’s also clearly established that you Sherlyn are another one of my sweetest and strongest inspirations. The world shall know that I love you also! Now let everyone say Amen!

Natalie (Nellie)Praying for the family and friends of Natalie Evans. She was a friend of mines whom I met as a co worker on my previous job. Natalie went home to be present with the Lord last Thursday October 29th. She was 40 years old. Although she had left the job we shared together a year prior to my leaving, her legacy along with mine’s remains there. As I look at the end of the path of life we shared, I can’t help but to reflect on where it began. 12 individuals got off the same ship to board a newly created department and deliver a newly created web based portal and help desk. There are only 4 remaining of that original crew. In the beginning, we thought are connections were really about the job we were chosen to do. How little did we know that it really was about the God we serve and his greater will at work! I was terminated from that job of 7 years, after 9 months, still waiting for my new ship to come in. More importantly, I ask the Lord to let it be his will in whatever it is that lies in store for me. Glory to God, Natalie’s ship has finally come! I thank God almighty that he blessed both us to know and love each other and share with each other how He had blessed us both. R.I.P. My sister and friend, Ms. Natalie Evans!
